Zetland Fiduciary Group, its subsidiaries and associate companies (ZFG) strives to provide excellence in professional service to its clients and contacts. ZFG observes a strict code of ethics and maintains secure computer and internet servers with an advanced cybersecurity management system.

ZFG may collect information from clients from time to time, including name, home address, job title, contact information, demographic information and other relevant information. ZFG will do this in a number of ways through mail, e-mail, facsimile or information provided at our offices. ZFG may also conduct searches available online and on social networking sites to verify any information provided to us.

ZFG maintains a strict confidentiality policy of all personal data collected. All client information collected is held on our secure database and is accessible only by ZFG staff. The information collected is solely for the purpose of compliance with our regulatory bodies, but it is also used in understanding client needs and providing them with services.

All information collected is for internal record keeping, improving our products and services and promotional and market research purposes. ZFG will not sell, distribute or lease client's personal information to third parties unless permission has been obtained or is compelled by a court. We operate and store data in our data centre in Hong Kong, in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) of Hong Kong.

ZFG endeavours to comply with other jurisdictional data protection laws by ensuring adherence to their standards and regulations. Our data protection practices are governed by the PDPO of Hong Kong. Data may be transferred to, processed, or stored in a jurisdiction different from where clients or contacts reside, including Hong Kong. When Cross-Border Data Transfers apply, we will ensure that adequate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs)) are in place to protect Personal Data.

Depending on clients and contacts jurisdiction, there may be rights regarding Personal Data, including: -

Access and Correction: - The right to request access to and correction of Personal Data held by ZFG. -

Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): - Personal Data where it is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was collected

Restriction and Objection: - Clients and contacts may have the right to restrict or object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing and profiling activities.

Data Portability: - Where applicable, request a copy oPersonal Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Withdrawal of Consent: - If processing is based on clients or contacts consent, they have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

Clients and contacts of ZFG have the right to request access to their personal data in order to correct, update or remove it from our database. Client data is retained in accordance to our regulatory bodies requirements but it may be retained for longer in order to assist parties in the event of any legal dispute.

If it is believed that any information we are holding is incorrect or incomplete, please e-mail ZFG at the above address as soon as possible. We will promptly put to right any information we identify as incorrect.
